I LOVE THIS BOOK. It drew me in from the first page to the last. I could not put it down. The story flows really well, but surprises you all the time! I am truly hoping that there will be a second book. Melissa actually sets a scene and describes the characters in such a way that you understand exactly what is going on. And yet you still get to envision things the way you see them as you read them. WOW!!! Where do I start.... First, this book is intended for adults only.
Emma has had a rough life and tries to kill herself. Someone comes to her rescue. All he wants in return is her soul. She immediately feels a pull towards him but at the same time has the instinct to flee.
The devils plaything was intense! It totally had my feelings all over the place. One minute I loved Emma, the next I wanted to shake some sense into her. It had a great story line with an absolutely perfect ending.
After reading the book description I thought it would like this book,but i didn't like it,I LOVED IT! The main character is Emma Reinhold and she's trying to kill herself,at lest in the beginning. As emma lies in a dirty dark alley dying she is
rescued by a man she does not know and soon falls for him. Luc is the devil,literally,and is infatuated with Emma and will do anything,say anything to make her his. but what Emma doesn't know is that she's Luc's plaything or is she more to him?
I just LOVED this book! I really enjoy watching Emma grown into a stronger woman throughout the story. She is beautiful and smart and determined,just what I like in a main character. Then there is Luc. He's smart,charming and incredibly hot and i found myself totally lusting over him from start to finish. I also highly enjoyed how the Author goes into great detail when it comes to the romance scene between Emma and Luc. the story has a good flow to it and a great plot. I like how Emma found the strength to do what was right in the end no matter what happened to herself.
I don't think there is one thing about this book i didn't like. All in all I give 'The Devil's playthings' a 5 out of 5 star review because it was nothing short of Fantastic!

You'll find Emma struggling and a mysterious man coming to save the day- But what really is going on?
You will feel a rainbow of emotions! You'll come to sympathize, care, hurt, be angered, swoon and then question everything!
Luc- I fell for him. I came to love him immensely. I really did!
Emma- girl, you're something else. I loved her and then wanted to possibly kindly smack her a few times! (HA!)
If you're into PNR with sexy hot moments this is the book for you! I can't wait to dive into book 2 and find out what will happen next with these amazing characters!!!
